Chicago municipals are in less than two weeks. Daley's a shoo-in with his high approval rating, but what about City Clerk? It's an interesting race--a REAL chance to see some change. I am over opening the paper to find another scandal uncovered and another public official indicted. For starters: wouldn't it make sense for us to be able to find out what our Aldermen are voting for? Why are we 10 years behind even small cities in this capacity? <BR/><BR/>City Clerk is in charge of making that information public. There is really only one candidate who can claim to be independent, Jose Cerda, and he's talking up a storm about it. The clerk candidates debate today at 4:00pm on WVON Radio (1690 AM). <BR/><BR/>Anyone who is complaining about the city's corruption should be listening to this!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
