The Untimely Death of Tim Russert

Tim Russert, NBC News’ Washington bureau chief and the moderator of “Meet the Press,” died Friday after collapsing. He was 58.

When he suddenly and shockingly died of a heart attack, Tim Russert was thirteen years younger than Sen. John McCain.

My, how incredibly crass and insensitive. By the way, Russert was 37 years younger than McCain's still-living mother.

I never meant to bruise your feelings, William.

And I do not intend to cast a vote for Sen. McCain's mother either.

And for one-half of the Google search "Peoria Pundit" & "Rachel Corrie" to call another's blog post "incredibly crass and insensitive" simply defies comment.

But, as always, thanks for reading.

Insensitively yours,
