In the wake of failing to stop Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) in the Tuesday contests -- and to deflect attention away from former pal Tony Rezko on trial for public corruption -- the campaign of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is stepping up calls for Clinton to disclose her income tax returns. The Clintons don't have their income tax documents in order?
Clinton has been stalling, pleading that she needed time to get her papers together, as if the matter is just the return she will file in 2008 for income from 2007. Obama seized on it as an issue after Clinton's wealth got notice when she loaned $5 million to her campaign.
But I thought Sen. Clinton was going to be "ready on day one."
If need be, I would gladly help speed-up the up by sending the Clinton campaign a copy of TurboTax.

I thought they were asking for the Clinton's returns from *last* year. You know, the ones they already filed.
They are asking for this years and last years.
But the Clinton team is dragging its heels by acting as though they cannot release any of their tax documents without having their taxes for this season filed.
Call me suspicious, but I think that there is a reason that the Clinton family wants to hide the source of their recently acquired wealth.
